Safe Cycling

Dalhousie Office of Sustainability

Halifax is becoming an increasingly bike-friendly city. At any age, and at any time of year, cycling is a great way to commute or get a work out. But the laws, rules, and best-practices for cycling the streets can be challenging to decipher for locals —  and quite unconventional to cyclists who hail from other parts of the country, or the world.

But have no fear! The Dalhousie Office of Sustainability and the Nova Scotia Department of Health and Wellness have put together this handy guide to safe cycling in Nova Scotia, as well as some other essential life lessons. Ever wondered what not to eat with eggnog? Then there’s something in this video for you, too.

We strongly encourage you to give it a share!
